HTTPS decryption
Generate a root CA, install it on the clients you want to inspect, and read HTTP/1, HTTP/2 and WebSocket traffic in plain text.
HTTP(S) debugging proxy
Interceptor captures and decrypts traffic from your browser, desktop apps, simulators and phones. Inspect it, pause it, mock it and replay it, without touching your code.
Built on mitmproxy's battle-tested engine, with a fast inspector on top.
Generate a root CA, install it on the clients you want to inspect, and read HTTP/1, HTTP/2 and WebSocket traffic in plain text.
Flow list, domain sidebar, filters, headers, highlighted JSON, image, HTML, font and protobuf previews. Copy as cURL, fetch, Python, Kotlin or Swift.
Pause matching requests or responses, edit method, URL, headers, status and body, then execute or abort.
Return fake responses with custom status and delay, serve a local file, or redirect a request to another host.
Describe a mock in plain words. It builds the rule from your captured traffic.
Re-send any captured request as-is, or tweak it first. Replays skip your rules so they reach the real server.
Simulate Wi-Fi, 4G, 3G, Edge, packet loss or fully offline to see how your app copes.
Filter by desktop process or client device so you only see the traffic you care about.
Let AI assistants list and search flows, replay requests and manage rules through the built-in interceptor-mcp server.

To read HTTPS traffic, yes: Interceptor generates its own root CA and you install it on each client you want to inspect. The Connect a device wizard guides you, or open mitm.it from a device already using the proxy.
Open the downloaded app with right-click → Open the first time, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
Yes. The Connect a device dialog has tabs for Web, Android, iOS, real devices and other clients, with one-click helpers where possible.
Captured traffic stays on your computer. Rules are saved locally in ~/.interceptor/rules.json.
